Joost has stayed at the Institute several times as a participant in courses and as a scholarship student in Spring 2017. Currently his PhD research is affiliated with the Institute as a KNIR Project. Together with Miente Pietersma, Joost is co-chairperson of the KNIR Ambassadeurs 2019-2020.
