Lisanne Ledegang, BA

Lisanne obtained her bachelor’s degree in Classics from Leiden University. Her bachelor thesis focused on the Christian reception of Vergil in the medieval epic Alexandreis. Lisanne’s main fields of interest include but are not limited to Alexander the Great, reception studies, women in antiquity, and classical poetry. She followed the Roma Caput Mundi course at the KNIR in 2023, and a course on Latin Epigraphy in 2024. Lisanne is currently working on obtaining her research master in Classics at Leiden University, and works as a teacher of Greek and Latin in a high school in Utrecht.
