Gien is currently finishing up her BA History at the University of Amsterdam. During her Bachelor, she took special interest in modern Italian history and obtained a minor in Italian language. She spent several months at the KNIR as a part of the KNIR/NIKI Minor ‘Italian Art and History’ in 2023. This stay greatly enriched her knowledge of and love for Italian history. She looks forward to sharing information about the KNIR, in order for others to hopefully have equally wonderful educational experiences.
