Marta Torres is a Predoctoral Researcher at the University Institute for Research in Archaeology and Historical Heritage (INAPH) of the University of Alicante. Her lines of research are framed in Landscape Archaeology, focusing on the dynamics of occupation, mobility and transformation of landscapes between Antiquity and the High Middle Ages in the southeast of the Iberian Peninsula.

As an associate researcher at KNIR she will participate in the Tappino Area Archaeological Project in Molise, where non-invasive techniques focused on remote sensing (such as aerial photography and geophysics) are applied within Landscape Archaeology. These methodologies will be implemented later in her doctoral research.
