The project distills different levels of intersubjective relations from the works of the Neapolitan philosopher Giambattista Vico, supplemented by twentieth-century scholars who also recognized the crucial interplay between memory, imagination, and inventiveness. In doing so, the project designs a much-needed philosophy of innovation, which highlights the practical nature of Vico’s endeavors and its utility for contemporary problems.
