Julia is a PhD student at the University of Groningen. Her research project assesses a nonlinear approach to art historical time. She is interested in decolonial critiques of art history and studied Cultural Analysis (BA, Amsterdam and New York), and Art History and Asian Studies (RMA, Leiden and London). During her many stays at the KNIR she became fascinated by the multiple temporalities of Rome.
